Introduction
The department of Civil Engineering
was founded in 1989. Currently, the department offers four-year education
program in day school. In 2003, the program was separated into two divisions:
Engineering Techniques and Information Application. In August 2006, the master
program of Graduate Institute of Road Technology was established and was
changed its name to Graduate School of Civil Engineering the next year.

The concept of the department is to
prepare students with al solid background in civil engineering and information
applications. In addition, the training goals include the management skills,
English proficiency, and a mature personality.

professor and 2 lecturers (12 of our faculty hold a Ph.D. degree, including 3 en route).
Many of them hold their PE (professional engineers) certificates.
